North Korean embassy | Reform UK newspaper | Wholemeal bread | Tarred and feathered | Lincolnshire’s actor-manager
Regarding your article on foreign embassies in residential London neighbourhoods (29 October), in 2014, a hairdresser in south Ealing put up a window poster with an image of Kim Jong-un and the strapline “Bad hair day?” They were offering a 15% discount on men’s haircuts. The next day, two besuited men from the nearby North Korean embassy turned up, demanding that the poster be removed. Both parties went to the police. No further action was taken.
